HEAVY CREAM
A long-running collaboration between my old friend, Paul Cantrell, and me. We began by creating functional tote bags using innovative textiles, and in 2024 took the leap into exploring more complex handbags and backpacks as well as playful garments. Please visit www.heavycream.online to see more.
NEW! S/S ‘25: Guts out Raw
What makes the clothes made by our mothers and grandmothers so different from those we buy online? With Paul as creative direcor and myself as technical designer, patternmaker and sample sewer, we played with ”home-sewn” details in ready-to-wear items. Brash color choices, summery ginghams and surprising fabrics that explode out of the garment express the feelings and memories of our youth.

THE TENT BAG PROJECT: THINKING OF SUMMER-TIME COMPANIONS
A series of four packable market bags made from old and damaged tents donated by friends and family. We took advantage of existing seams, hardware, labels and other features to show each tent’s years of use, then printed each bag with HEAVY CREAM symbols that evoked summer and kinship.
